#Giving My Characters a Voice
For the past thirty years, as a psychologist, I have accompanied clients on their journey of self-discovery and guided them through their challenges. The most important lesson I learned is how our early experiences and the relationship with our parents in particular, affect our beliefs, the way we see ourselves, relate and form relationships with others.
It was not surprising that my debut novel, Lanesbrough Hall, is a family saga about complex parent-child dynamics, and more specifically about mother-daughter relationships.
